We were not meant to be the living dead

Eyes burning
Muscles inert
Consciousness twitching
Life ebbing;
Sleep coming.

Elegy

The stars are twinkling tonight
But I can't see them
Heaven's veil reminds me of home
But I've forgotten the vapors
Tonight it's dark
The moon has passed me by
I desire to find my own way
Wisdom's call is to remain.

Immaculately Desecrated

I know it--I've always known it--but seeing it always breaks my heart. I can't imagine what it does to Yours.

And it's a reminder of who I was. Who I am in many ways, but who I no longer want to be.

I can't look. Is there any hope for us? For our generation, or the next, or the next?

May there no longer be any hypocrisy among us.

"For I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives within me. And this life I live in the body I live by faith in the Son of God, who loves me and gave His life for me."
Galatians 2.20
